Touring Park Reviews

We’re proud of the reviews we receive from campers, caravanners and glampers who visit us. Some of our visitors return to us year after year, so it’s great to share some of their wonderful reviews, written in their own words. We read all of them with great interest, and use them to help us develop and improve the Nidderdale experience even further.

You can leave a review for our Adventure Trail on the Adventure Trail Review page.

Brilliant camp site!

Date of stay: August 2019
This site really has all you need for a fantastic camping break. Just back from our 4th camping trip and it was brilliant, already planning next years! This year was with a group of friends with our young children. Everyone had an amazing time, lots to do, and the adventure trail is amazing. The owners are all lovely and helpful, facilities are clean and spacious, and the cafe serves lovely food. They will even make up a picnic basket for you and deliver it to a barn on the trail. And the homemade food was delicious. Once you stay, you will fall in love with it, and its beautiful surroundings. Roll on 2020! ❤ Studfold ❤

Fabulous Friendly Campsite

Date of stay: July 2019
We have stayed on this site on a number of occasions. Always clean. The location is amazing and so relaxing. You always get a warm welcome. The Nidderdale cafe on the premises is excellent and reasonable in price. The trail is also worth participating in with plenty to occupy children under 12. We love the place.

Pod Cover

Date of stay: August 2019
When the rain hit we upgraded to pods. Loved this place, the cafe and the trail are fab and the staff are really friendly. The scenery is beautiful and it’s a great base to visit surrounding areas. Looking forward to going back again.

A great find

Date of stay: August 2019
We found this site the night before we were due to take our teenage nephews away and the forecast meant our original plan (we head to the Lakes by default) had to change. We’re so glad we did! This is a super site with spacious pitches, a very clean and well-equipped toilet block, a shop and a cafe and incredibly helpful staff who we contacted numerous times throughout our stay for a range of sound advice. There are activities on the doorstep (but be prepared for a winding 8mile drive to the nearest shops). The site was peaceful, in the heart of nature and provided us plenty of space for French cricket during down time. There’s even a sheltered area for barbecues when the weather turns. We would love to come back. Thank you so much.

Fantastic!

Stunning campsite. Beautiful views, family orientated. Pitches are a lovely size, plenty of space between them. Shower and toilet blocks lovely and cleaned regularly. We were running late for check in so called and the lady (sorry can’t remember her name) bought us a WiFi voucher and said we could collect it from her home near the camp site. WiFi was 2g for £5 for 2 days. We hired a firepit which was delivered to our pitch and there waiting for us when we arrived plus a bag of logs and kindling. Cost £10 for the firepit and logs but well worth it. Such a beautiful area and so peaceful. The cafe is lovely and clean and nice cakes! We had booked to do the trail but unfortunately it was cancelled due to bad weather but our money was transferred straight back on to our card. The staff could not do enough to help, they want you to have the most enjoyable stay and the whole experience was lovely and relaxing. Will definitely be back!

Camping trip

Date of stay: September 2019
We came here to Studfold Camping site on the 17th September for 4 days camping with my son and our 2 dogs. I must say our very first ever camping in Yorkshire - it was amazing. What a lovely and clean well run site - the owners really looked after us. We hit on very bad winds and rain but that didn't put us off ...can't wait to come back here next year thank you Ian and Ann for an amazing site.
