Opening Times and Prices
It is now essential to book your Trail visit in advance using our online booking system. This allows us to manage the number of visitors on the Trail at any one time, ensuring everyone has a fantastic experience.
2025 opening times
We’re open between 10am and 5pm. The last bookable entry time is 2pm, giving you plenty of time to explore the whole trail before we close. We are open every day in the following school holidays:
- Easter: Saturday 5th April – Tuesday 22nd April 2025
- May Day Weekend: Saturday 3rd May – Monday 5th May 2025
- Spring Bank / Half Term: Saturday 24th May – Sunday 1st June 2025
- Summer: Saturday 19th July – Sunday 31st August 2025
In addition to the school holiday dates, we are also open on the following dates:
- Every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 10th May until Sunday 13th July 2025
- Every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 6th September until Saturday 20th September 2025
Please note that we work around the North Yorkshire school holiday dates. Do check your school holiday dates against these, especially if you’re out of North Yorkshire, as school holidays can vary.

It is essential that you book your tickets in advance. There is a 5% booking fee. Please read our full terms and conditions on booking.
Great Easter Egg and Fairy Hunt
Adults and Children aged 2 and over: £8.50
Children under 2: Free
Each fee-paying child will receive and Easter surprise
Teddy Bears’ Picnic Weekend
Adults: £8.50
Concessions: £7.50
Children aged 3 – 17: £8.50 (includes a free gift)
Children aged 2: £6.50 (no gift, but option to pay additional £1 for gift if parent feels it is suitable for the age of the child)
Children under 2: Free (no gift)
Standard Admission
Adults: £8.50
Concessions: £7.50
Children aged 5 – 17: £7.50
Children aged 2 to 4: £6.50
Children under 2: Free
Family ticket for two adults and two children: £30.00
Please note that Family tickets are not available for the Great Easter Egg and Fairy Hunt.
Schools and groups are welcome to visit on week days during term times. Please call 01423 755228 for more information.
All tickets are non-refundable. However, if you already have a booking but it is not possible to visit due to the Covid-19 situation, please get in touch via our contact form or by calling 01423 755084 and we can arrange to move the booking to later in the year. Please take a look at availability before getting in touch and have your booking reference to hand.
We ask that all visitors observe government rules on social distancing, large gatherings and hand washing/sanitising. Please bring the products with you that you feel will enhance your safety and the safety of others around you. If you have any coronavirus symptoms or have been in contact with anyone else who has symptoms, please do not visit. If you develop symptoms while visiting Studfold, you must inform us and leave immediately, ensuring that you get tested.
