Static Park Facilities
The beauty of having a caravan at our static park is that you are perfectly situated to take advantage of everything our amazing Yorkshire Dales countryside and facilities have to offer.
Studfold static park is run to high standards, with the comfort of our holidaymakers always in mind. Our park and facilities have been designed for your enjoyment, ease and convenience, as well as the consideration of our wonderful natural environment. For more information please see things to do.
Each pitch has plenty of room, with its own grassed area that can double-up as a parking bay. All newly placed and purchased caravans have sewage, treated spring water and electricity provision. Some pitches are suitable for a side balcony.
As you might expect in hilly country, TV and mobile phone reception can be poor, but a signal can usually be picked up a short walk away. Satellite TV is recommended. WiFi is available via vouchers, which you can purchase from Reception.
Our bins accept all domestic waste as it is collected by Harrogate Borough Council and sorted at their recycling depot. We ask that barbeque coal waste is disposed of in the small metal bins we provide.
Toilet and shower block
Our toilet and shower block in the static park is sparkling clean and free to use. It has been thoughtfully planned out and built with dry changing and private wash area for each shower, and a baby change area.
We have a small shop onsite at Reception that sells basic provisions, Calor gas and camping gas, Sunday newspapers, sweets, ice-cream, small toys and gifts. You can order milk by the pint for the next day, and your Sunday papers!
There are many shops in the local town of Pateley Bridge nearby, and supermarkets in Ripon and Harrogate. There are also two traditional Yorkshire pubs in walking distance that serve excellent food and good beer.
A laundry area, with washer and deep sink is available in the static park. An industrial dryer is available in the static caravan park too, which is coin-operated.
There are many lovely, circular walks that start from and return to Studfold, situated right on the Nidderdale Way. Talk to us at Reception and we’ll point you in the right direction. Whether you’d like a few miles for your family with young children, or are up for a more serious ten miles-plus, Studfold is a great base for walkers of all abilities.
Studfold Adventure and Fairy Trail
Studfold really does have magic hidden in its woods. Our fun and mysterious Adventure and Fairy Trail is for the young and young at heart, with surprises and so much to see and enjoy, especially from Saturday 23rd May, when lots more fairies come to stay for the special Studfold Fairy and Pixie Adventure event!
Static caravan owners are offered the option of purchasing an annual family ticket for our nearby Studfold’s Adventure and Fairy Trail at a discounted price, for unlimited access during opening hours to our fun and enchanting attraction throughout the entire season.
The Nidderdale Way Cafe
Run by Julia and her family team, the Nidderdale Way Cafe is a fabulous addition to Studfold, and a great place for static caravanners to catch up. There is a lovely homemade range of breakfasts, light lunches, snacks, drinks, and ‘lumps’ of cake for you to enjoy sat inside or out, as well as a very warm welcome. You can also order breakfast and picnics in person from the cafe or by emailing Julia at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cafe opening times are weekends and school holidays from Saturday 4th April 2020 to 27th September 2020, 9.00am until 4.30pm (8.30am Saturday and Sunday).
