Pitch Fees
We offer super value for money caravanning, camping and glamping holidays at Studfold in the Yorkshire Dales, with reasonable pitch fees for everyone, and only minimal increases in high and peak seasons. Cyclists and backpackers enjoy discounted rates due to their lower travel impact, which is important to us as an environmentally conscious site.
Our 2024 season opens on 28th March. We tend to become fully booked at the peak and high seasons, so please do reserve pitches with us in good time to avoid disappointment. Midweek out of school holiday time is usually quiet however. Please see our tempting midweek offer for great deals if you’re looking for a tranquil term-time break.
If you are making a booking to return to Studfold please note that we have reduced the number of pitches and have made many pitches much larger. Prices have been adjusted accordingly. It is important to also note that pitch numbers have changed and to ensure that you book a certain area in the park you should refer to the plan of the park. This can be accessed as part of this booking process.
At the time of your booking your pitch, we require a 50% deposit payment, with the remaining 50% payable at least 14 days prior to your arrival. A reminder email, with payment details, will be sent. If booking within 14 days of arrival, full payment will be required at the time of booking. When booking a glamping pod, we require 100% payment.
Please note: Due to our location, there is only partial EE mobile reception and no aerial-based TV reception at Studfold, however WiFi vouchers can be purchased from Reception.

Group bookings
No group bookings allowed. Our maximum booking size is two pitches. This includes individual bookings that intend to be together upon arrival. If you have visited Studfold previously as a group without issue, and wish to return, please contact us by phone or email before booking any pitches.
Minimum bookings
We have a minimum booking requirement of three nights for bank holiday weekends and two nights for high/peak rate weekends. There is no minimum booking period when staying on any night between Sunday and Thursday night.
Pod occupancy
Pods sleep a family of four, comprising of two adults and two children, or a maximum of three adults. Throughout the season, all pod bookings are for a minimum of two nights per individual pod. On the morning of your departure we ask that that your pod is vacated by 11am, but please ask us if you wish to leave later. Arrivals are anytime from 1.30pm.
Dog-friendly pod (Pod 2)
Pod 2 is dog-friendly, for one dog only. Supervision of your dog is required in the pod at all times and we ask that dogs are kept on their leads in all areas of Studfold touring park and Adventure Trail, walked off site, and all mess picked up and disposed of. Please note that Pod 2 does not have bed bases.
