I can’t stress enough how much we ALL loved our day out at Studfold Adventure Trail. The trail was so well thought through and so imaginative. There were so many things to do to keep everyone entertained (we only had 1 child and 4 adults) and we spent the whole day there. I can’t believe how cheap it was and we would’ve happily paid double for what we had.

Not sure what I was expecting but this was so much more. A beautiful walk in stunning Nidderdale with clues and codes, fairly dwellings galore, go carts and a play area. Not many places can entertain a teenager, three year old and a baby!! We spent over 2 hours but could have stayed longer - had we taken a picnic! Highly recommended.
Fabulous trail!

What an amazing day out for the family! I took my 2 young sons for the first time and was extremely impressed with both the trail and the staff. The lady that served us when we got there couldn't have been more helpful and the trail was filled with so many exciting finds for a 2yo and 5yo! My youngest is very outdoorsy and just loves to run wild and this was certainly somewhere that he could do that. The fact they take your picnic from you at the start and take it up to the picnic point for you was great! No lugging a heavy picnic bag and it was waiting for us when we got there. 10/10 for us!
A fantastic trip out

We had a really good day at Studfold; probably would go as far to say one of our best days out this year. It’s just so great for kids and is located in the glorious backdrop of Nidderdale. It teams up getting active on a lovely country walk with a magic fairy trail - lots of fairy houses, fairy doors and a really fun go kart section; finishing in an enchanting wood with waterfalls which was just sublime. Our six year old daughter was mesmerised from start to finish. We took our own picnic - they have lots of seating areas dotted about - but you can order a picnic hamper - they looked really well-presented; we’d consider doing that next time. The staff are friendly and take the time to speak to your children too. All in all, couldn’t recommend highly enough; it was a superb day out.

What a fabulous, magical place for children. There's something different around every corner - puzzles and trails, bird hides, crafts, tractors and this year fairies galore! All set against a stunning Yorkshire backdrop. it's a great place to get children walking and exploring. We were aged 3 to 63 and we all loved the place. A truly wonderful place to explore. I can't recommend it more highly.

Brilliant…what more can you say?! Had an awesome day here today, me the wife and our 9 year old daughter loved it. Nature trail is brilliantly set up and loads of fun to do. Amazing views, friendly staff and the nature trail isn't very expensive at all. Lots to see and do and to top it all off, you can order a picnic at the cafe with your choice of drinks and goodies and they'll drop it at the bar (half way round) for you to sit and enjoy. Loved this today, would highly recommend this place.
Wonderful trail and picnic

Spent half a day here, exploring the trail with trail questions aimed at different age groups. Really lovely fairy houses and interesting nature info with lots of varied activities. Ordered our picnic before we started and it was waiting for us at the end in a 'little red riding hood basket' . Really good picnic. We had a lovely time and will be back. Kept a nearly 8 and 11 year old engaged.

There has been so much thought put into this adventure trail. The staff were fantastic at engaging the children and explaining things to them. The trail had lots of interactive and interesting features. So much care and effort has been put into making this a pleasure day out. The children we were with were aged 3-9 and all had a great time with so much to do.

What an absolute gem of a place to visit. Could not fault it. Staff were friendly, helpful and incredibly down to earth. The magic of the place is beautiful. Fun for boys and girls..... with quizzes and puzzles to do along the way. Huge amount of fun had by all the family.... young and old. Would like to stay longer next time. Maybe at the caravan site. Or Glamping.
There is costumes for children to borrow. They can be fairies or elves. Wonderful touch. Picnics to enjoy on the day can be preordered. Unfortunately we took our own but next time would definitley order.
Recommendation: you will need at least 2 hours to complete and longer if you want to savour it.

We stumbled across this place and it was probably one of the best things we did on our Yorkshire holiday with our 2 year old. £6.50 an adult and he was free. You get a map which you have to tick off if you see the hidden bunnies and a pictures you tick off when you see them, he loved this and looking for clues and secret boxes. Good go kart area with hard hats, bird hide to do crafts and spot birds, picnic area with sandpit and more little ride on tractors. Build a den area and Fairy garden was great too. We had lunch on soup and sandwich in cafe that was really reasonably prices and tasty. Must have if you have young children, we spent a good 2 hours here. 50p for a kit with a badge and a wish slip that you plant in fairy garden, well worth it, my son loved watching badge be made.
