Nidderdale Way Cafe

Enjoy a warm Yorkshire welcome at the Nidderdale Way Cafe at Studfold, nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Our friendly on-site café serves a range of freshly prepared food, including hearty breakfasts, light lunches, plenty of cake and picnics – perfect for fuelling your day in the Yorkshire countryside.

A favourite with Adventure Trail visitors, as well as camping, caravan and glamping guests at Studfold, the cafe is also an ideal stop for walkers and cyclists exploring the Nidderdale Way. Relax indoors or take in the stunning views outside while enjoying freshly prepared dishes and daily specials.

Planning a day on the Studfold Aventure & Fairy Trail? Order a freshly made picnic and we’ll transport it to the picnic area for you at no extra charge. Campers and caravanners can also grab a takeaway breakfast to enjoy back at their pitch, pod or caravan – an easy, delicious start to the day.

We also welcome birthday parties and groups, but ask that these are pre-booked with us.

Opening times

Our opening times are the same as the Adventure & Fairy Trail, which are weekends and school holidays from Saturday 28th March to Saturday 19th September 2026, 9.30am until 4.30pm (last orders 4pm). Please note we will be closed for two weeks from 13 April, reopening on 2 May.

Parking and disabled access

Parking for the cafe is at the Studfold car park. The cafe is disabled-friendly, and has blue badge parking immediately outside the entrance.
