April

Studfold Easter Egg HuntThe Great Studfold Easter Egg and Fairy Hunt!

In the Easter holidays, from Saturday 5th April until Tuesday 22nd April 2025 we have our very special, and popular, Great Studfold Easter Egg and Fairy Hunt event.

It’s a day the whole family can enjoy. Pick up a clue sheet and then explore and discover large willow nests, brightly coloured eggs, golden rabbits and the famous Studfold spring fairies and their countryside friends. The woodlands at Studfold are always magical but spring sees an extra level of enchantment!

Start counting the rabbits on your way to Studfold from Pateley Bridge - there should be 4! From our car park, follow the white rabbits all the way to Reception! Once on the Adventure Trail you can count the golden rabbits, learn what life is like as a fairy, make a wish and plant it in the fairy wish garden. There’s so much to do!

Please note that the entry price differs for this event.

April – September

Studfold Fairy and Pixie TrailStudfold Fairy and Pixie Adventure

From Saturday 3 May until Sunday 20th September 2025, there is magical mayhem at Studfold Adventure and Fairy Trail!

Back due to popular demand, the Studfold Fairies have flown into Upper Nidderdale, although this year some pesky pixies have locked a number of magical gateways! Find the lock codes to travel through wonderful dales countryside, discover clues to find treasure, make wishes, explore the amazing world of nature and have lots of interactive fun!

We encourage children to dress up in their fairy, pixie, or adventure story costumes for this curious and enchanting event that is fun for the whole family. We also have fairy wings to buy from Reception.

Children can also write a wish on a small piece of paper, to plant in the fairy wish garden on their way through the bewitching Village of Two Stone Wishes.

Please Explore the Trail to find out more. Our standard admission prices apply. Please note that from Saturday 24th May to Sunday 1st June, and also the weekends of 7th and 8th, 14th and 15th June, we’ll be running our Teddy Bears’ Picnic event. See below for details. If visiting on these dates, please book a Teddy Bears’ Picnic ticket on our booking page.

Teddy Bears’ Picnic Weekend and Father’s Day

Join us from Saturday 24th May to Sunday 1st June, and also the weekends of 7th and 8th, 14th and 15th June, for our brand new Teddy Bear's Picnic Event. As part of the weekend of 14th and 15th, we’ll also be celebrating all the wonderful Dads, Step Dads and Grandads.

Treat your favourite Teddy to a visit to Studfold Adventure Trail at one of the most beautiful times of the year. And why not dress up too? It’s the perfect opportunity to take some amazing family photos.

Pick up a clue sheet at reception, explore the trail and find many of Studfold's bears hiding places. There’s also a surprise waiting for you when you get back to reception! This event is suitable for pre-schoolers, infants and older children who love their teddies.

Make your visit complete with a Teddy Bears’ picnic! When you arrive, order your picnic from the Nidderdale Way Cafe (or bring your own) and we’ll deliver it to the main picnic and play area in a beautiful basket. All you need to bring is a picnic blanket, which can also be left with us to deliver with your picnic.

There is so much to see and do, with the added bonus of the Fairy and Pixie homes also being present at this time.

Please note that the entry price differs for this event. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult family member at all times.
