Opening Times and Prices
It is now essential to book your Trail visit in advance using our new online booking system. This allows us to restrict the number of visitors on the Trail at any one time, keeping everyone as safe as posssible. Please also note that to ensure we can follow all current Government safety guidelines in relation to Covid-19, there is a reduced number of activities on the Adventure Trail.
2020 opening times
We are open from 10.30am to 5pm, and accept last admissions at 3pm.
- From Thursday 2nd July – Sunday 12th July, we are open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- From Thursday 16th July – Sunday 6th September, we are open every day including Bank Holiday Mondays.
- From Saturday 12th September – Sunday 27th September, we are open Saturdays and Sundays only.
A new season begins at the start of the Easter holidays in 2021, from Saturday 27th March with the great Studfold Easter egg and fairy hunt.
We are open every day in the school holidays. Please note that our dates are those of the North Yorkshire school holidays. Do check your school holiday dates against these, especially if you’re out of North Yorkshire, as school holidays can vary.
- Spring Bank: Saturday 23th May until Sunday 31st May 2020
- Easter: Saturday 4th April until Sunday 19th April 2020
- Bank Holiday weekend: Friday 8th May to Monday 11th May 2020
- Summer: Saturday 18th July until Sunday 6th September 2020
Midweek visits for groups are possible by prearrangement.
It is essential that you book your tickets in advance. There is a 5% booking fee. Please read our full terms and conditions on booking.
Children: £5.50 (Please note, that at Easter, we make a small extra charge of 50p extra per child, including under 3s, to cover their chocolate Easter surprise.)
Children under 3: Free
Family ticket for two adults and two children: £22.00
Family season ticket for two adults and two children: £55.00

All tickets are non-refundable. However, if you already have a booking but it is not possible to visit due to the Covid-19 situation, please get in touch via our contact form or by calling 01423 755084 and we can arrange to move the booking to later in the year or next year. Please take a look at availability before getting in touch and have your booking reference to hand.
We ask that all visitors observe government rules on social distancing, large gatherings and hand washing/sanitising. Please bring the products with you that you feel will enhance your safety and the safety of others around you. If you have any coronavirus symptoms or have been in contact with anyone else who has symptoms, please do not visit. If you develop symptoms while visiting Studfold, you must inform us and leave immediately, ensuring that you get tested.
