Nidderdale Way Cafe
There’s a warm Yorkshire welcome waiting for you at the friendly Nidderdale Way Cafe onsite at Studfold. Serving homemade breakfasts, lunches, picnics, and everything in between, including, of course, cake! Choose to enjoy your cuppa, butties and lumps of cake cosy indoors, or outside at one of our benches to take in the spectacular Nidderdale views.
The cafe is a great addition for Adventure Trail visitors, and camping, caravan and glamping holidaymakers at Studfold, and an ideal stop for walkers and cyclists of the well-known Nidderdale Way bridleway, as well as anyone who just wants to sit back and take a breather.
The cafe team use locally sourced products for all their delicious, freshly prepared meals and treats. There are also specials every day, that you can check the board for in the cafe when you arrive, as well as the cake counter.
We very much welcome birthday parties and groups, but ask that these are pre-booked with us.
Order a picnic!
Whilst you enjoy discovering the fairies and bunnies on the Adventure Trail, we will create your delicious picnic, which will magically appear in the play barn /picnic area in time for your arrival!
Order your picnic when you arrive at Studfold – we’ve something to suit the whole family’s tastes. And, for no extra charge, to save you from carrying them around with you, the cafe will deliver them to the Adventure Trail picnic area. Just look for the pretty basket with your name on it!
Any campers, glampers or caravanners for breakfast? Our delicious breakfasts are available to take away and enjoy back in the comfort of your own tent, pod or caravan. They’re the perfect, hearty start to the day!
Opening times
Our opening times correspond with those of the Adventure Trail, which are weekends and school holidays from Saturday 23rd March to Sunday 22nd September 2024, 9.30am until 4.30pm (last orders 4pm).
We’re open every day in the following school holidays:
Easter: Saturday 23rd March – Sunday 7th April 2024
May Day Weekend: Saturday 4 May – Monday 6th May 2024
Spring Bank / Half Term: Saturday 25th May – Sunday 2nd June 2024
Summer: Saturday 20th July – Sunday 1st September 2024
Parking and disabled access
Parking for the cafe is at the Studfold car park, which is located just off the Pateley Bridge to Middlesmoor road. The cafe is disabled-friendly, and has disabled parking immediately outside the entrance.
