Liked: Everything about our stay at Studfold was brilliant and we will hopefully return sometime in the future either in our own tent or again to make use of the POD. The POD is brand spanking new (only been used once before our visit) and has more facilities than we were expecting. The POD itself is bright and airy and has the luxury of two pine single bed frames which we pushed together to form a double, it fit our blow up mattress perfectly. Inside you'll also find a table with electric kettle and a stock of tea/coffee etc, they even provide a jerry can so you can fill up with water on arrival rather than having to walk back and forth to the water tap when you fancy a brew. The floor is carpeted and there's also an electric heater which soon warmed the POD up, it was really snug despite it being 6 degrees and damp outside. There are spotlights inside the POD and a light outside on the little porch and 6 electricity sockets inside for charging cameras - no use bothering charging your mobile because there doesn't seem to be any reception in the area. Outside there's a picnic table but you will need to bring your own chairs for sitting out on the porch. Also a firebasket outside and a BBQ rack - unfortunately it wasn't BBQ'ing weather for us. The toilet/shower/pot wash area are approx 200 metres away and are the cleanest/brightest that we've come across. Three loos in the ladies, three showers with their own separate changing area so your clothes/shoes don't get wet and one cubicle with a sink and mirror. There are also two communal sinks with mirrors and a separate area with mirror and 2 hairdryers. There was always soap and loo roll and a mop so you could clean up after yourself.....absolutely spotless and fresh smelling every time I went in there (men's were the same according to my OH). Potwash had bowls and washing up liquid and piping hot water. The view from the POD was amazing and it was really quiet and peaceful - we were lucky as we got the whole field to ourselves as the POD section of the field had no other campers at all.
We got a very friendly welcome from Ian when we checked in and he explained everything for us and advised us on the best place to eat etc........The Crown Pub in Lofthouse only 10 mins walk and served gorgeous food with hearty portions!! When we checked out we spoke to the lady that runs the POD and she was genuinely interested in what we thought and asked if we could suggest anything else that could be added to make it better for future residents of the POD..........we couldn't think of anything, for us it was perfect.

Disliked: Can't think of a single dislike, maybe make the check out time a little later but that's not really a dislike purely a suggestion.
