Caravan Motorhome Camping
Studfold is superbly situated amongst beautiful hill country, in the heart of Nidderdale, near Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire. The Walker family have run the caravan and camping park for the past 50 years and pride themselves on the quiet family orientated atmosphere. Winners of the 2014 Welcome to Yorkshire Caravan, Camping and Glamping Hoilday Park White Rose Award.
The park consists of two acres of flat grassland with easy access and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.
All pitches are grass; they are flat, well drained and a generous 10m x 10m in size. Electric hook ups are available but appliances should be specifically designed for caravanning or camping.
The toilet block boasts excellent facilities and is cleaned on a regular basis. There is disabled provision and 2 family rooms/baby change areas. The pitch fees include showers, deep sinks and hair dryers in the ladies' facilities.
There is plenty of space for touring caravans, tents and motorhomes and we are particularly keen to welcome families. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and walked off the site.
New for summer 2016 Studfold can now offer the great addition of the 'Nidderdale Way Cafe'. Run by local Julia, her daughter Izzy and her family team. There is a lovely range of snacks, drinks, cakes, breakfasts to taste. You may also pre-order breakfast and picnics either via a pre-order form at the cafe or by emailing Julia on firstname.lastname@example.org . Collection is at the cafe at a time of your choice or from the camping field at 9.00am. Call in and you are sure to receive a Yorkshire welcome here!
There is a small shop that supplies basic daily needs, calor gas and camping gas, Sunday newspapers, sweets and ice cream, small toys and gifts. Other provisions can be found in the local town of Pateley Bridge or for larger shops there are supermarkets in Ripon or Harrogate.
We have a large flat play area for children, ball games and socialising. There is also access to the beck running adjacent to the camp site but young children will need adult supervision here.
Maximum group booking size is 3 units unless prior arrangement is agreed and there is a minimum booking of 3 nights for Bank Holiday weekends and 2 nights for high rate weekends.
Once you are here you will find a large and varied list of things to do or alternatively you may just wish to sit back, relax and let the stresses of everyday life slowly disappear. Alternatively a bespoke package of outdooor activities can be designed and pre-booked. Just enquire on booking and make your stay full of adventurous Yorkshire memories. The addition of the award winning nature trail and its specialist events now means that there is plenty to do right here and the car keys can remain tucked away until the car needs to be packed prior to departure!
Our best adverts are the reviews left by previous guests, so please see what likeminded people have had to say about their stay with us at Studfold.
We do get fully booked at busy times of the year so it is necessary to reserve pitches (see Contact us/Booking). However, mid-week out of school holiday time is usually quiet and we offer 3 nights for the price of 2 (offer does not apply to Glamping).
