The increasingly popular warm, dry and deceptively large camping pod has arrived at Studfold. Situated in a quiet corner of the caravan and camping park the glamping or camping pod promises to offer a whole new experience. Glamping in the Yorkshire Dales at it's best!
Studfold has 2 Glamping Pods. The pod has lighting and is fully insulated. Inside there are two bed bases that can be used as singles or fastened together to for a double, with plenty of carpeted floor space for a further two mattresses. A kettle is provided along with a small table, fan heater and two electric sockets. Outside there is plenty of room for parking, a picnic bench, a fire pit and breath-taking views. Visitors to the pod will have full use of the toilet and shower facilities on site which boasts excellent facilities and is cleaned on a regular basis. There is disabled provision and a baby change area. The fees include showers, deep sinks and hair dryers in the ladies' facilities.
New for 2016! Now there is a welcome addition of a cafe at Studfold, 'The Nidderdale Way Cafe' near to reception. Here you may purchase delicious snacks, cakes, breakfast and drinks. Other provisions can be found in the local town of Pateley Bridge or for larger shops there are supermarkets in Ripon or Harrogate.
Studfold is superbly situated amongst beautiful hill country, in the heart of Nidderdale, near Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire. The Walker family have run the caravan and camping park for the past 50 years and pride themselves on the quiet family orientated atmosphere.
We have a large flat area for children, ball games and socialising. There is also access to the beck running adjacent to the camp site but young children must be supervised at all times.
Once you are here you will find a large and varied list of things to do (see fun things to do) or alternatively you may just wish to sit back, relax and let the stresses of everyday life slowly disappear. The addition of the award winning nature trail and its specialist events now means that there is plenty to do right here and the car keys can remain tucked away until the car needs to be packed prior to departure!
Nearby we have two traditional Yorkshire pubs that serve excellent food and good beer. Also within walking distance is an equally good café which will serve a breakfast guaranteed to start you day off in exactly the right way.
So why not give "glamping" a go? Remember you need to bring your own blow up mattresses and bedding and all the other things you would normally bring for camping .... Except the tent!!!
